2019 Media Guide: Wyatt Davis ascended into a starting role last season (2018) as a red-shirt freshman because of an injury to senior Demetrious Knox and performed extremely well in his two starts while helping the Buckeyes to a Big Ten Conference championship game win over Wisconsin and a Rose Bowl victory over Washington … expect Davis to remain at one starting guard position in 2019 as he is now one of the most experienced performers along the line, albeit just a sophomore in eligibility … Davis did play in all 14 games last season for Ohio State and logged 241 plays on offense, plus another 106 on special teams.
