HIGH SCHOOL: The All-West Defensive Player of the Year … a Parade Magazine All-American and second team USA Today All-American … earned all-state, country and league honors, and was the Eastern League Defensive Player of the Year as a senior … 120 tackles, including 24 sacks as a senior … had 54 sacks in his final two prep campaigns … helped lead his high school to the state 3-A title his last year … teammate of fellow Buckeye freshman Darrell Lewis … also an outstanding high school baseball player.
