1994 Media Guide: Started the final three games of the season last year after Tim Walton was hurt (dislocated shoulder) at Wisconsin … will battle talented redshirt freshman Shawn Springs for playing time this year … physical player who can also line up at safety if need be … has 33 games under his belt and is one of the Buckeyes’ most experienced defensive backs … his third quarter interception in last year’s Holiday Bowl set up the Buckeyes’ final (and game winning) touchdown … has been a sensational special teams player throughout his career, especially on the punt return team, blocking three punts, forcing another one to be fumbled in the end zone last year at Illinois and narrowly missing several others.
