High School: Played fullback, defensive tackle and tight end in high school … also punted and kicked off … won 11 high school letters, four each in football and baseball and three in basketball … captained his high school football and baseball teams … top football thrill came when he scored twice and rushed for 86 yards as his high school team upset Ashland High.

Personal: An older brother, Norman, lettered for Ohio State in 1978, ’79 and ’80 … enjoys music and playing sports … admires Randy Gradishar and Tom Cousineau, former Buckeye linebacking greats.
