Weight: 220 (1993-96), 205 (1992)

1996: Started 11 of the Buckeyes 12 games at outside linebacker (he did not start against Minnesota because the coaching staff elected to start five defensive backs against the Gophers) … finished the year with 51 tackles (seventh on the team) and had nine tackles for loss and a pair of sacks … had three tackles for loss against Minnesota … had season highs of eight tackles against both Wisconsin and Iowa.

1996 Media Guide: Returns for his second year as the starter on the wide side … finished second on the team in tackles last year with 93 … also had three interceptions and four tackles for loss .. . led the defense in playing time with 312 minutes … played good football all year long and played particularly well in the big games, collecting a career-high 11 tackles at Michigan and 10 against both Notre Dame and Penn State … totaled 83 return yards on his three interceptions, including 33 yards at Wisconsin on a key play at the beginning of the second half that probably turned the game around … all three “picks ” led to Ohio State touchdowns (his other two interceptions were against Washington and Purdue) … replaced Craig Powell last year and quickly proved up to the task … an underrated football player.

1995 Media Guide: Expected to step in and fill the void created by the early departure of Craig Powell on the wide side … intelligent young player who has been a top reserve the past two years … runs well and has displayed a knack for being in the right place at the right time … made 43 tackles last year, including 35 solos … his tackle total, which included five tackles for loss, was the highest by any non-starter … played in all 13 games and logged a total of 80 minutes … very productive player who had a career-high 10 tackles in 10 minutes against Purdue, and six tackles and an interception in just nine minutes against Houston … made significant strides last year and should be a solid player this year … also a valuable member of the special teams, especially the kick coverage unit.

1994 Media Guide: Backs up Craig Powell on the outside … outstanding young player who appeared in all 12 games last year for a total of 78 minutes … learns quickly and always plays well when called upon … one of those players who somehow finds a way to make plays … should see increased playing time this year … finished the 1993 campaign with 24 tackles, including three for losses, and two fumbles caused … also plays on the kickoff, punt and kick return units.

1993: Top game was five tackles at Purdue, including two for losses … jarring hit at Pittsburgh resulted in a Panther fumble that was recovered by the Buckeyes … also had a tackle for loss against the Panthers … had at least one tackle in every regular-season game.

1993 Media Guide: Will play behind Craig Powell on the outside … good, young prospect who is coming off a solid spring … impressed the OSU coaches in the spring with his ability to make plays … smart player and a good athlete … has added 15 pounds since the start of last year and would like to get to about 230 … redshirted in 1992 … hobbies include playing the guitar (with teammate Alan Kline).

1992: Redshirted.
