2006 Media Guide: Walk-on fullback who is in his fourth year on the squad … played in five games in 2005 … blocks well and has good power … also plays on the special teams … hard worker and physical player … always gives the Buckeyes a good look on the scout team … comes from an excellent high school program … transferred to Ohio State from Holy Cross in the fall of 2003 … motivated by the challenge of walking on at Ohio State and by the opportunity to play for head coach Jim Tressel.

2005: Saw action against Miami, Iowa, Minnesota, Illinois and Northwestern … had his first career carry against the Illini, bulling his way up the middle for a four-yard gain.

2004: Made his college debut in the season opener against Cincinnati, getting late minutes at fullback.

2003: Required to sit out the season as a transfer.

2002: Attended Holy Cross but left school at the end of the year … did not play in any football games, but did compete as a member of the track team.

High School: Three-year starter … played fullback as a sophomore and linebacker as a junior, before being hurt and missing much of the season … played fullback and outside linebacker as a senior … won all-district honors as a senior … high school won the state championship in 1999 and 2001 … the 2001 team went into the playoffs with a 6-4 record and won five playoff games to capture the title … threw the shot and discus for three years … state champion in the discus as a junior and was the runner-up as a sophomore and senior, losing to two future OSU players – Jason Caldwell and Mike D’Andrea.
