1994 Media Guide: Started all 12 games at end last year. but moves inside to tackle this season in an effort to help offset the loss of All-America Dan Wilkinson … made the position switch in the spring and seemed to adapt quickly … big, strong. physical player with excellent quickness … one of the Buckeyes’ top pass rushers … has all-league potential … hard worker with a great attitude.

1993: Finished the season with 49 total tackles, easily his best year … tackle total included seven tackles for loss, two sacks and two fumble recoveries … top game was a career high 10 tackles (six solos and four assists) against Michigan State… also had two tackles for loss and forced a fumble against the Spartans … other top games include eight tackles against Rice in his first start, and six tackles. two passes broken up and a fumble recovery against Washington.

1993 Media Guide: Gets his first opportunity to start this year … moves in at the end position occupied by Derrick Foster last season … big, strong, fast athlete with excellent pass rushing skills … should be a perfect complement to Jason Simmons, giving OSU two very quick ends … played behind Foster last year and appeared in all 12 games … lone start of the year came at Indiana, his first career start … had 33 tackles, including a very impressive 6.5 tackles for loss and 4.5 quarterback sacks in fairly limited playing time … had a career-high five tackles against Northwestern, three of which were for losses … also had a fumble caused against Iowa and a fumble recovery against Georgia in the Florida Citrus Bowl … played well in the spring and should have an outstanding season in 1993.

1992 Media Guide: Moved from defensive tackle to defensive end in the spring and played very well … still needs to refine his technique, but has good athletic ability and speed and should see a lot of playing time in the fall … his move solves what had been a serious depth problem behind Derrick Foster and gives the Buckeyes a potentially outstanding pass rusher … played a total of 24 minutes in eight games last year, almost all of that on the special teams, but will see more time this year, and in the future if he continues to progress as expected … also a fine special teams player.

1991 Media Guide: Promising young player who will play the rush spot to take advantage of his speed and athletic ability … could also play inside … redshirted last fall … should be an impact player on special teams … had a very good spring … expected to acquire valuable experience this year that will help him prepare for next season … could go up against his brother, Kendall, who plays football at Louisville on Sept. 14 … Still undecided on a career, but is interested in broadcasting as a possibility.

1990 Media Guide: Standout player from the Motor City who earned All-City, All-Metro and All-Michigan honors as a senior … four-year starter, helping Cooley to a 7-2 record his junior year and a 6-3 mark his final season … 458 career tackles … also five career interceptions … carried the ball 12 times as a senior and scored on four of those runs … Physical player with good speed … wants to major in communications . . . lists ‘‘going places with his friends” as one of his favorite things to do … a brother, Kendall, plays football at Louisville.
