1994 Media Guide: Moves from tackle to nose guard this year … will contend with incumbent starter Luke Fickell for playing time … has been a solid reserve throughout his career, seeing action at tackle, nose guard and end and appearing in 26 games … saw limited playing time last season as a backup for All-America Dan Wilkinson at tackle, but is a good, very competitive athlete.

1993: Appeared in seven games for a total of 47 minutes … five tackles, including a tackle for loss against Northwestern … two tackles at Pittsburgh was his top game.

1989: High School: Consensus all-state selection last year … three-year starter and team captain as a senior … played defensive tackle as a sophomore and junior, but played defensive end as a senior … also played offense, seeing action at both tackle and guard … West Geauga was 8-2 his junior year … also lettered twice in basketball and was a starter on the team that advanced to the state championships in St. John Arena in 1989 … wants to major in economics and go into financial planning after graduation … hobbies are reading and going to the movies.
