1999 Media Guide: Nick Mitchell walked-on to the football team in the spring of 1998 as a true freshman. “Nick is a tough kid who has helped us out a great deal as part of the scout team,” linebacker’s coach Freg Pagac said. Mitchell played in his first collegiate game last season against Toledo.
High School: Attended Bishop Watterson High School and helped the football team to an 11-2 record and a state semifinal berth as a senior in 1997. Earned all-state honors.
