Post-OSU Update: Mike Tomczak went undrafted in 1985, but caught on as a free agent with the Chicago Bears. He won a Super Bowl in a backup role with the Bears in 1985 and became a part-time starter with the Bears in 1986 and remained so until 1990. After playing a season each with the Packers and Browns, Tomczak played seven seasons with the Steelers, mostly as a backup. In his 15-year career, Tomczak had a 42-31 record as a starter and threw for over 16,000 yards (88 TD, 106 Int.). After football, Tomczak has worked in coaching, broadcasting, and as a sports agent.
