2022:  Had a fine 2022 season when he played in 12 games, and through some lingering injuries, and recorded 19 tackles … started five games in 2022: vs. Notre Dame, Arkansas State, Wisconsin, Rutgers and Penn State … had 7.5 tackles-for-losses totaling a team-best 46 yards … also had 4.5 sacks to tie for the team lead with Jack Sawyer … had a career-high four tackles vs. Notre Dame, including 2.0 TFLs … established his career-best with 3.0 TFLs vs. Arkansas State.

2022 Media Guide: Mike is in his second season with the program and has four seasons of eligibility.

2021: He played in four games in 2021 and ultimately red-shirted the season … recorded two tackles; one vs. Akron and one vs. Indiana.

2021 Media Guide: Mike is a true freshman and part of the 2021 recruiting class … enrolled in classes at Ohio State in June … the nation’s No. 54 overall player and No. 4-rated defensive tackle as a high school senior in 2020 … the ninth-ranked overall player in Ohio.

High School: Primarily played defensive tackle for Streetsboro but also doubled as an offensive lineman … Regarded as an explosive player who gets off the ball quickly and has good speed for his position … as a junior, led Streetsboro to their first-ever playoff win as the Rockets finished 11-1 … had 72 tackles, 17 TFLs and five sacks … his senior season cut short due to a broken hand after just three games but still managed to finish with 24 tackles and nine tackles-for-loss … was one of three northeast Ohio signees in the 2021 class along with Ben Christman (Richford / Revere) and Jayden Ballard (Massillon / Massillon Washington).
