2016 Media Guide: Michael Cibene is in his fourth year with the football program after initially walking on to the team in the fall of 2013 … this well-liked true senior prepares and practices as a safety but he thinks like a linebacker and believes he is a linebacker, at a solid 195 pounds … outstanding academically, Cibene is a three-time OSU Scholar-Athlete and is majoring in logistics management … this summer he was an intern working in operations as part of the Ohio State athletic department’s Bucks Go Pro initiative.

High School: Cibene was a two-year letterman at Pine Crest High School for coach Jim Pletcher and a team captain in 2012 … helped Pine Crest to a 9-2 record as a senior … also competed four years in powerlifting.

Personal: Has two younger brothers … is the son of Michelle and Michael Cibene.
