2013 Media Guide: Marcus Hall is a leader for the Ohio State offense as one of four returning starters along the offensive line … he is a fifth-year senior – one of three along the line with LT Jack Mewhort and C Corey Linsley – who has battled in the trenches in 33 games so far for the Buckeyes, and he has started 18 times … Hall (along with line mates Mewhort and Andrew Norwell) was on the line for 827 of the team’s 837 offensive plays from scrimmage last year while starting all 12 games … his play, and the play of the offensive line, was a huge reason the Buckeyes went 12-0, won the Big Ten Conference Leaders Division, were ranked No. 3 in the nation and were the only undefeated team in the Football Bowl Subdivision … Hall also helped the Buckeyes average 242.2 yards per game rushing (10th nationally), lead the Big Ten in scoring (37.1 ppg) and record a 34-year team high 37 rushing touchdowns … a three-year Varsity O letterwinner, Hall has been a key contributor along the offensive line since he arrived on campus.
