inside linebacker prospect in the nation by Scout.com and the No. 44 linebacker prospect by ESPNU
… he was a Top 100 prospect in the six-state Midwest region by SuperPrep.

High School: He was named second-team Division I all-state by the Associated Press as a senior after recording 118 tackles, including 19 tackles-for-loss and five quarterback sacks for coach Rob Carpenter’s Gales squad … as a junior in 2010 Roberts received AP all-state special mention after a 96-tackle season that also included 23 tackles-for-loss and three sacks … earned all-Ohio Capital Conference and all-district honors both years … a three-year starter who also wrestled in high school … Lancaster H.S. also has produced notable Buckeyes Jim Cordle and Rex Kern.
