2022:  Had a fine 2022 campaign when he played in 12 of the 13 games, started nine games and was a semifinalist for the Thorpe Award … ranked third on the team in tackles in 2022 with 74 and earned honorable mention all-Big Ten Conference honors by both the coaches and voting media … 2022 stats also included 3.5 tackles-for-loss (-22 yards), an interception (vs. Michigan State), three pass break-ups, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery … a valuable special teams performer as well with two blocked punts on the year: vs. Indiana and Maryland … recorded a career high 11 tackles (eight solos) vs. Rutgers and had 10 tackles vs. Indiana and eight vs. both Northwestern and Georgia.
