1999 Media Guide: A sore neck kept Julius Yeast from progressing as much as he would have liked last fall, but he has worked hard and is starting now to realize improved strength, quickness and physical condition from OSU’s strength and conditioning program. He possesses a great deal of athletic ability but “needs more technique” ends coach Shawn Simms said, in order to start seeing significant game-day playing time. Simms added: “Julius is making progress and getting bigger and stronger. He has real good pass rush moves right now.”
1998: Redshirted as a true freshman.

form an unbelievable defensive line for Harrodsburg … was twice selected to the Kentucky all-state team … also all-state in basketball and the state discus champion … the son of Vickie Stigall and Larry Yeast … his father is a graduate of Kentucky State … born June 4, 1979.
