2006 Media Guide: Transferred from Auburn in the winter of 2005 … sat out last year in accordance with NCAA rules … walked on at Auburn in the fall of 2002, but left school for personal reasons before the season was over … did not see any game action … spent the next two years working and attending the University of Alabama on a part-time basis … missed football and had always been an Ohio State fan (especially of Orlando Pace and Eddie George) and contacted the OSU coaches and expressed a desire to try out for the team … hopes to work his way into the defensive line rotation this year … is big and strong and can give the Buckeyes a presence inside in short yardage and goal line situations … weighed 430 pounds when he was at Auburn, but took up running and changed his eating habits.
