High School: Won all-Ohio honors at Cardinal Mooney High, where he was coached by Don Bucci … played offensive center and defensive tackle in high school … during his three years in high school, his teams posted a 30-2 record … John and his two older brothers all played on an undefeated team as high school seniors … captained his football and baseball teams.

Personal: From a family of seven, including four girls … hobby is  music.
