Post-OSU Update: Joe Burrow transferred from Ohio State to LSU in the spring of 2018. As he had already graduated, he was eligible to play immediately. He chose LSU over Luke Fickell’s Cincinnati program. He started two years at LSU, his second being most memorable. He led a prolific offense, featuring Justin Jefferson and Ja’Marr Chase, to an undefeated 15-0 season and national championship. Burrow’s magical season featured a 76.3% completion rate, 5,671 yards passing and 60 passing touchdowns against only six interceptions. He was selected first overall in the 2020 NFL Draft and led the Bengals to a Super Bowl appearance in his second season. Burrow made the Pro Bowl in his third season, 2022.
