2015 Media Guide: Jeff Greene is a fifth-year senior academically who is in his third season with the program … he joined the Ohio State football program at the start of the 2013 fall camp as a walk-on and sat out the season after transferring from Georgia Tech … he is a veteran of 36 collegiate games, 11 as a Buckeye and 25 while at Georgia Tech, and seven starts as a Tech wide receiver … his career numbers include 19 receptions for 297 yards and two touchdowns … Green is majoring in sport industry and has interned the past two summers with national sports marketing firm IMG College.

2014: After sitting out in 2013, Greene played in 11 games for the College Football Playoff national champion Buckeyes … while most of his action was as a valuable member of multiple special teams, Greene also played on offense for the first time as a Buckeye by getting into three games … he had an
Ohio State high 22 plays in Week 3 vs. Kent State, including 11 snaps on offense … he caught his first pass wearing Scarlet & Gray against Illinois, a 13-yard reception.

Georgia Tech & High School: Greene played and lettered two seasons at Georgia Tech – 2011 and 2012 seasons – before transferring to Ohio State in the summer of 2013 … he tied for the Georgia Tech team lead with 18 receptions in 2012 for 284 yards and two touchdowns … had a long catch (and touchdown) of 82 yards vs. Presbyterian … also scored vs. Clemson and had a 58-yard reception vs. Miami … he played in 25 games for the Yellow Jackets and started seven games in 2012 … as a prepster, Greene was a four-time football letterwinner for coach Chad Phillips at Starr’s Mill … caught 33 passes for 630 yards as a senior and was named second-team all-state … also ran track for four years and played basketball for three seasons.
