Post-OSU Update: James Clark transferred to Virginia Tech (as a graduate transfer) in March of 2017 with one year of eligibility remaining. Clark played in eight games for the Hokies in 2017, making eight catches for 92 yards. (updated: Dec. 2023)

2016 Media Guide: James Clark is coming off his best season with the program, having played in 12 of 13 games in 2015 and earning his first Varsity O letter … he is in his fourth-year with the program and is a junior in eligibility … he has battled through a couple injuries, one that prompted a red-shirt season in 2013, but he enters 2016 having appeared in 18 games for the Buckeyes, which makes him one of the more experienced receivers on the team … a finance major, Clark has earned one Academic All-Big Ten honor and two OSU Scholar-Athlete citations.
2015: Clark played in 12 games for the Buckeyes and earned his first letter … played a season-high 26 plays on offense against Rutgers and also had 18-play games vs. both Virginia Tech and Hawai’i … had a total of 148 offensive and special teams plays for the season.
2015 Media Guide: James Clark is a third-year sophomore with the program … he has battled a couple injuries, one that prompted a red-shirt season in 2013, but he has managed to appear in six games for the Buckeyes … a finance major, Clark is an Academic All-Big Ten honoree and a two-time OSU Scholar-Athlete.
2014: Clark played in three games for the College Football Playoff national champions: Kent State, Illinois and vs. Wisconsin in the Big Ten championship game … he battled through a hamstring issue most of the season as well, which helps explain his action in Games 3, 8 and 13 but no action in between … the Illinois game represented his first Big Ten action … he played a persona-best 27 plays vs. Kent State.
2014 Media Guide: Red-shirt freshman James Clark played some as a true freshman last year, getting into three of the first four games before an ankle injury against Florida A&M and subsequent surgery ended his season … he was in for eight total plays in those three games.
