1999 Media Guide: Greg Simpson has battled with some of the best defensive backs in the country in his two years at Ohio State. He has progressed and improved a great deal, secondary coach Jon Tenuta says because “he works hard. And he has been terrific on special teams where he will continue to make his presence felt.” Simpson has played in 10 games so far and recorded six tackles.
1998: Worked extremely hard during spring ball and then played in 10 games during the campaign, mostly on special teams. Was in on six special teams tackles with four of those solo hits. Recorded two tackles against both Toledo and Minnesota.
