Post-OSU Update: Garcia Lane played two years in the USFL after leaving Ohio State. He twice was an all-USFL selection. He played parts of two NFL seasons with the Chiefs, mostly returning kicks and punts. Lane averaged 8.9 yards per punt return on 43 returns and 20.4 yards per kick return on 15 returns for his NFL career. Lane’s son, Shaun, played for Ohio State from 2004-08. (updated: Jan. 2024)
