2000 Media Guide: Eric Klaban walked on to the team in the fall of 1998. Although he arrived in Columbus from the state of Michigan, he grew up in Cincinnati and said he, “always wanted to be a Buckeye.” Not surprising since his father, Tom, kicked four field goals in Ohio State’s 12-10 win over Michigan in 1974 and is still in the Buckeye record book in several categories.
1999: Played in two games, both on special teams – action came against Ohio University (his first collegiate appearance) and Iowa.
