1999 Media Guide: Edmund Brown walked on to the Ohio State football team in the fall of 1998 as a true freshman. Linebacker’s coach Freg Pagac said “Edmund is a hard worker and could help the Buckeyes on special teams down the road.”
1998: Brown redshirted the 1998 season, although he did see his first collegiate action, two minutes in the win over Toledo.
Personal: Chose to walk-on to Ohio State all the way from Massachusetts because he was born in Ohio and has relatives in the state. Starred for Lincoln Sudbury H.S. in both football and basketball, earning all-conference honors in each sport. The son of Iva and Ross Brown. Born Aug. 26, 1979.
