Major: Mechanical Engineering (2005-06)

2006 Media Guide: Earned his first letter last year … played in seven games in 2005, including the last six of the season … most of his time came with the special teams, primarily on the kick coverage unit … also played on the kick return and punt block teams … he did have his first career reception against Illinois … walk-on who has earned his spurs through hard work and perseverance and the willingness to help out whenever and wherever possible … originally entered school in 2002, so this is his final year of eligibility.

2005: Played in seven games and had two tackles with the special teams and earned his first letter … six-yard reception at Illinois was his first career catch.

2004: Walked on in January … did not see any game action in the fall … was a member of the scout team.

High School: Three-year starter at linebacker and tailback … Logan was 29-1 in those three years … won all-state honors at tailback as a senior … two-time all-league and district offensive player of the year as a senior … owns six rushing records at Logan, including single season rushing and scoring and career scoring … also played basketball and baseball and ran track and earned nine letters in four sports.

Personal: Was married in July of 2004 to the former Katie Thompson, who he met at Ohio State and is an OSU graduate … they have a son, Jace, who was born this past June … likes to golf and hunt … will graduate in the spring of 2007.
