High School: Cormontae Hamilton was a three-star prospect and the No. 22 player in the state of Tennessee by 247Sports … the nation’s No. 22-ranked tight end by Rivals … member of The Commercial Appeal’s all-metro team as a junior in 2017 … helped Whitehaven, under head coach Rodney Saulsberry, reach the Class 6A semifinals in 2017 … averaged better than 20 yards per reception … 2018 preseason 6A all-state selection and led Whitehaven to the state finals … hauled in 18 passes for 278 and five touchdowns as a senior for the 11-4 Tigers.
