2006: Joined the Ohio State football program as a walk-on … took a redshirt his first fall at OSU.

High School: All-district and all-Columbus Dispatch area honoree at Lincoln High … second team all-Ohio Capital Conference helping Lincoln to 2005 playoffs … won the Golden Lion and Archie Griffin Sportsmanship awards … team captain … also a wrestling letterman … active in Young Life.

Personal: Son of Joe and Cheryl Malone … has a brother, Matthew … Ohio State scholars program student … studying biology with the hope of attending medical school and becoming an orthopedic surgeon.
