2015 Media Guide: Chase Farris is set to become a starter along Ohio State’s offensive line in 2015 … a fifth-year senior, this talented, athletic and team-first lineman has successfully switched from playing defense to offense to defense to offense, and his hard work – battling stars like Joey Bosa day-in and
day-out – has paid off with coach Urban Meyer announcing in April that Farris would be the team’s starting right tackle … it is an earned promotion for Farris, who has impressive physical size and athleticism and who shouldn’t be looked upon as a rookie as he has played in 29 games for the Buckeyes, including all 15 last year … a proud holder of a bachelor’s degree in sport industry, which he received in May, Farris spent one week in Costa Rica during the school’s May academic semester,
distributing shoes to those in need as part of the “Soles 4 Souls” initiative.

2014: Farris played in all 15 games for the College Football Playoff national champion Buckeyes … he was in on 270 plays – the most of any non-starter along the offensive line – including 169 snaps on offense with additional playing time on special teams … he played a personal-best 60 plays on offense in the win over Kent State and had his most extensive Big Ten action in games against Rutgers, Maryland and Illinois with 35, 27 and 26 plays, respectively.

2014 Media Guide: Chase Farris is in his fourth year with the program … he is a talented and athletic lineman who has successfully made the switch from defense to offense and back again multiple times … he’s also had the misfortune of having two injuries sidetrack his efforts … he is a two-time Varsity O letterwinner who has played in 14 games; seven on each side of the ball.

2013 Media Guide: Chase Farris is in his third year with the program … successfully made the switch from the defensive line to the offensive line last fall and he earned his first Varsity O letter, playing in seven games on special teams for the undefeated Buckeyes … he played 18 snaps from scrimmage vs. Illinois, part of a career-high 26 plays that game.

2012 Media Guide: Chase is in his second year with the program … he red-shirted the 2011 season as a true freshman … appeared to be very active along the defensive line during the 2012 spring drills and came out of those drills listed as a backup at the defensive end position.

High School: First team all-Ohio player on both sides of the football … team, county, conference, district defensive lineman of year … all-Lorain, all-northeast Ohio, all-district teams … recorded 95 tackles, 11.5 sacks, 31 TFL as a senior for Coach Steve Hamilton …defensive MVP of Offense-Defense
Bowl … Ohio North-South Classic, Big 33 Game … also a basketball letterman … MAC Scholar.

Personal: Son of Dina Farris and Rodney Moore.
