2014 Media Guide: Chad joined the Ohio State football team in June of 2014 and will have one season of eligibility … he graduated from the University of Alabama in August 2013 with a degree in communications.
Alabama & High School: Lindsay spent four seasons with the Alabama Crimson Tide after enrolling there in January 2010 … he red-shirted the 2010 season and then played in 20 games and started four
times over the next three seasons … included was action in 10 contests as a sophomore in 2012 and eight games in 2013, with starts last year at center vs. Georgia State, Kentucky, Arkansas and vs. Auburn … he was a member of national championship teams at Alabama in 2011 and 2012 … the Crimson Tide won 47 of 54 games while he was there … he was a member of the Southeastern Conference fall academic honor roll in 2011 … Lindsay was a two time Texas all-state choice at The Woodlands and was a three-year starter … he was ranked 74th on the ESPNU 150 and the No. 15 guard prospect by Scout coming out of high school … Rivals rated him the No. 41 offensive lineman.
