1982: Started all 12 games at the flanker position … caught 20 passes for 552 yards and four touchdowns … caught a 74-yard scoring pass against Illinois and a 73-yard touchdown pass in the Indiana game … averaged 27.6 yards per reception, tops on the team.

1981: Caught 31 passes for 564 yards as a sophomore in 1981 … started nine games and played 243 minutes … his top game was against Florida State, when he caught eight for 158 yards, including a 60-yarder … won the Chevrolet Award as the “Outstanding Offensive Player” in the Purdue game, when he caught five passes for 117 yards and scored two touchdowns.
