1993 Media Guide: Had shoulder surgery late last fall and missed all of spring practice … impressed the coaching staff with his ability during the early portion of the fall when he participated on the scout team … needs to work on his strength to aid his development … will battle with classmate Steve Sheets as the Buckeyes’ center of the future.

1992 Media Guide: The West Virginia Player of the Year in 1991 … an All-America choice by SuperPrep magazine and honorable mention pick by both USA Today and Street & Smith’s … on offense, played tackle as a junior and center as a senior and was an end on defense … graded out as 89 percent blocking efficiency as a senior … on defense, recorded 95 total tackles, included four quarterback sacks, and caused four fumbles … played in the state North-South All-Star Game last summer … high school coach was Greg Cyrus … a three-year track letter winner in the shot put … a National Honor Society member, an All-American Scholar and served on the United Way Youth Advisory Council … career goal is to obtain a job in the medical field … born 3-4-74.
