2019 Media Guide: Brendon White enters his junior season coming off a breakout performance over the final five games of the 2018 campaign for the Big Ten and Rose Bowl champions … White was thrust into action during the first half of Ohio State’s game vs. Nebraska and went on to register a game- and career-high 13 tackles … had five or more tackles in each of Ohio State’s final five games and finished with 46 tackles on the season along with four tackles-for-loss, two pass break-ups and an interception … earned Defensive Most Valuable Player honors with eight tackles, two tackles-for-loss and an interception on a two-point conversion pass vs. Washington in the Rose Bowl … when he started the 2019 Rose Bowl game, White and his father, William (1985), became just the second father-son duo to start in the game, joining Howard “Hopalong” Cassidy (1955) and Craig (1976) … had a fourth-quarter
