High School: He was an honorable mention all-state performer for coach Anthony Fish as a senior at Warren High School … also earned all-southeast district honors … played for coach Andy Schob from his freshman through junior seasons … a two-time state qualifier in wrestling, finishing fourth and seventh in the state Division II heavyweight division as a junior and senior, respectively … also was a regional qualifier in track and field throwing the discus.

Personal: Is the son of Kelly and Michael Pahl … has two older sisters: Rachael is pursuing a master’s
degree in physical therapy at Findlay University and Kayla is a recent graduate of Ohio University with a degree in special education.
