1981 Media Guide: Came to Ohio State as a walk-on and impressed the Buckeye staff with his accuracy and determination to succeed … kicked field goals of 32 and 34 yards in the Spring Game.

High School: Made 45 of 54 extra points over a three-year career at Cambridge High, including 16 of 17 his senior year … played tailback two years in high school and ran for 650 yards as a senior, scoring seven touchdowns.

Personal: Hobbies are golf, fishing and collecting stamps … admires Dave Parker and Ken Stabler.
