Major: Special Education (2001)
2001 Media Guide: Good young prospect that sat out spring practice due to academic deficiencies and because of that missed time is still very much an unknown with Ohio State’s new coaching staff … hopes to project himself into the rotation with a good showing in the fall … has all the physical tools, but like a number of the Buckeyes’ defensive backs lacks any measurable experience … did play extensively last year with the special teams.
2000: Lettered as a true freshman … played a total of 31 minutes and appeared in all 12 games, with most of that playing time coming with the special teams … finished his rookie year with 10 tackles, including seven solos … three tackles at Iowa was his top effort.
High School: Rated as the No. 2 cornerback in the state by Bill Kurelic … No. 17 prospect and No. 2 cornerback in the Midwest by SuperPrep … was a tremendous force on offense with 1,245 yards rushing as a senior … Division I special mention all-Ohio selection … as a junior, tallied 27 tackles and five interceptions in eight games … also rushed for 719 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Personal: Is the son of Cheryl Myricks … enjoys playing basketball and lifting weights … born Jan. 30, 1981.
