1990 Media Guide: Redshirted last year… sub 4.4 speed … outstanding high school runner, who slashed his way for more than 3,000 yards, including 1,300 as a senior … moved to wide receiver last year and has made steady progress … still needs work in several areas, but has few equals when it comes to straight ahead speed … could see some action this year as a kick returner … ran both indoor and outdoor track for the Buckeyes last year and won the 55 and 200-meter titles indoors and the 200 outdoors … named Big Ten Freshman of the Year in track and was the team’s MVP.

HIGH SCHOOL: Won state titles in the 100, 200 and 400 meters and holds the state record in all three … ran a blazing 10.30 in the 100 meters … twice all state in football … ran for 1300 yards and 19 tds as a senior … a USA Today honorable mention All-American … has 4.35 speed in the 40 … as a tailback, rushed for more than 3,000 yards and 19 scores as a senior … was an all-stater in track, winning three titles as a junior (100, 200 and 400 meters), and holds the state record in all three events … may also run track for the Buckeyes.
