EVANSTON, Ill. — The Buckeyes scored on eight of nine possessions and amassed season highs in total offense and points.
Senior Jaymes Bryant scored two lightning-like touchdowns in the second quarter to propel the Buckeyes to a 28-7 halftime lead. The first came on a 63-yard run and the second on a 46-yard pass from Greg Frey. Bryant suffered a broken collarbone on his TD reception and was lost for the remainder of the season.
Freshman Dante Lee saw his first extended action and responded with 157 yards and three touchdowns on 27 carries.
