Columbus, OH — The second-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes dominated the Indiana Hoosiers with a commanding 56-14 victory at Ohio Stadium, improving their season record to 10-0 (7-0 Big Ten).

Quarterback C.J. Stroud showcased exceptional form, completing 17 of 28 passes for 297 yards and tying his career-high with five touchdown passes. Running back Miyan Williams bolstered the ground game, rushing 15 times for 147 yards, including a notable 48-yard touchdown run in the second quarter. Williams’ performance contributed to Ohio State’s season-high 340 rushing yards.

Wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. led the receiving corps with seven receptions totaling 135 yards, highlighted by a 58-yard touchdown catch in the first quarter. Emeka Egbuka and Cade Stover also made significant contributions, each adding touchdown receptions.

The Buckeyes’ defense was formidable, limiting the Hoosiers to 269 total yards and recording multiple sacks. Safety Lathan Ransom delivered a standout performance with 1.5 sacks and a blocked punt, underscoring the unit’s dominance. Linebacker Steele Chambers led the team with 10 tackles, consistently disrupting Indiana’s offensive rhythm.

For Indiana, quarterback Dexter Williams II entered the game in the first quarter, replacing starter Connor Bazelak. Williams completed 6 of 19 passes for 107 yards and two touchdowns, connecting with tight end AJ Barner for a 7-yard score and wide receiver Donaven McCulley for a 19-yard touchdown. Williams also led the team in rushing with 46 yards on 16 carries.

Ohio State established control early, scoring 21 points in the first quarter. Stroud connected with Egbuka for a 6-yard touchdown, followed by a 14-yard rushing touchdown from Dallan Hayden, and a 58-yard touchdown pass to Harrison Jr. Indiana responded late in the first quarter with Williams’ 7-yard touchdown pass to Barner.

The Buckeyes extended their lead with a 48-yard touchdown run by Williams in the second quarter. Stroud added two more touchdown passes in the third quarter, both to Stover, increasing the margin to 42-7. A 71-yard touchdown run by Xavier Johnson early in the fourth quarter further solidified Ohio State’s dominance. Indiana’s McCulley caught a 19-yard touchdown pass from Williams, but the Buckeyes capped the scoring with Stroud’s 8-yard touchdown pass to Kamryn Babb.
